Neat Repeats - Consignment Guidelines

First time consignors should make an appointment.  Please call or text 617-448-8624 to schedule.  There will be a nominal $5 fee for new consignors which will be deducted from your sales.

We accept 20 clothing items per consignor per week.

Acceptable Consignment - We accept only clean, freshly laundered items, with no stains, tears, missing buttons, musty or smoky smell, with minimal signs of wear.  They must be in good condition and current styling and ready for the sales floor.  Shoes must look new.  Neat Repeats will do an initial inspection of merchandise at the time of drop off.  If during pricing we find stains or damage, we will donate the items. 

Consignment Period – Items will be placed for sale for 90 days. We have the right to mark down or put items on sale at any time.  After 30 days and 60 days, the prices will be automatically reduced. High end luxury and designer items and jewelry do not expire.  These items have a 90-day selling period at full price before any markdowns, and are eligible for pick up after 90 days.

Returns - You may pick up your items on Day 90 days, but you will have to locate and pull the items yourself. (please bring a bin or laundry basket). Any unsold tagged items expire and become the property of Neat Repeats 90 days after the drop off date and may be liquidated or donated without notice to a local charity. If an item sells after its expiration, consignors do not receive commission.

Payment - We pay 40% commission on items sold, less a $1.00 per item fee paid by the purchaser.  A higher percentage will be paid for designer items.  Payments in cash or check will be available after an item has sold. We do not automatically send checks out; it is your responsibility to come into the store to pick up your payment.   Store credit may be used at any time. 

It is the Consignor’s responsibility to collect any monies owed to you from your account.  After 12 months of inactivity, any uncollected monies will be converted to a gift certificate.  No notice will be sent.

Merchandise is left at Consignor’s risk and Neat Repeats is not responsible for lost or damaged items.

DROP & GO POLICY: Established consignors may drop current season items in bags or boxes (no hangers). Write your name and cell on the bag or on a slip of paper. Any items not accepted from drop off bags will be donated. You will be notified when your items have been processed.
